Relaxing Route

Begins & Ends: It’s easy! We meet at the tent at West Electric Park (Countryman Dr., Plainfield IL; on the west side of the river) and then shuttle to Eaton Preserve for your beautiful trip down the Dupage River back to West Electric Park.

Shuttle: All rentals include complimentary shuttle to the start point; float ends right back where you parked.
Trip Length: 1.5 - 4.5 Hours (Depending on river flow)
Trip Mileage: 3 Miles
Classification: Calm Water
Minimum Age: 5 (ages 5-14 need to be accompanied by an adult) Life jackets are available for your safety at no charge.

Tube Rental: $30 Tube Rental (1 person per tube)
Cooler Tubes:
2 sizes to choose from...please make sure you select a large enough size.
--$15 Medium cooler tube (fits a 12-36 quart cooler size - see blue cooler in picture)
--$20 Large cooler tube (fits a 36-50 quart cooler size - see yellow cooler in picture)
Paddle: $5 per paddle
Note: Bringing your own tubes, paddles or cooler tubes is not allowed as we have no capacity to transport these items.

‍Booking: Click the Book Now! button to get started.  Pick the date/time you want (anything greyed out is already fully booked), select the number of Tube Rentals that you need, and click "Add to cart". You then get the option to 'Add On Cooler Tubes and Paddles!'. Please make sure you select the same date/time for the Add Ons as you did for the Tube Rentals.

Gift Cards: Can be purchased in any amount you choose. Click the Book Now! button to get started.
 
Cancellations: If Plainfield River Tubing has to cancel your float due to weather/river conditions, we will give you a full refund and ask that you re-book with us at your convenience.
If you are unable to make your float for any other reason, you have the option to transfer your reservation to family/friends. You must contact us at least 24 hours before your reservation to make the transfer.
No-Shows: There are no refunds if you do not show up for your reservation.

‍Check-in: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to check in.
‍
Waiver: It is MANDATORY that every customer signs the online waiver BEFORE arriving for check-in. For your convenience, this can be done online at any time before your scheduled float. Details and a link for completing your waiver are included in your confirmation email. Simply forward the confirmation email to everyone in your group so they can click the link and complete their own waivers. Please note that a parent must fill out the waiver for any minor under 18 years old.

What to bring:
-Wear your bathing suit or equivalent...you will get wet!
-Make sure you wear shoes that will stay on, like water shoes, gym shoes, etc. Flip Flops and sandals without backs aren't permitted.
-Make sure to bring beverages to stay hydrated, especially water (Glass containers are not allowed)
-Bring a cell phone in case of emergency.

Other items to consider bringing include:
-cooler
-watertight splash bag for phone, keys, wallet, etc.
-snacks
-sunscreen
-bug spray
-sunglasses
-cap/hat
-waterproof camera
-towel (to keep in car for after your float)
-change of clothes (to keep in car for after your float)

For your convenience, we have items for sale at check-in including watertight storage bags and koozies.

And don't forget...we are within walking distance to downtown Plainfield! So come and enjoy the many shops, restaurants and bars either before or after your float!
